pfw: louis vuitton spring/summer 2012

marc jacobs designs a delightful, sugary-sweet collection for louis vuitton's spring season. the feminine yet childlike collection was only enhanced by the beautiful setting, an old-style carousel was revealed in the center of a circular runway, where each model perched daintily atop a white horse. models then stepped down in turn to walk the runway in tiaras and macaron-colored dresses, skirts, blouses and coats - all with a slight sixties vibe. almost all his confections were adorned with embellishments, pearls, feathers, intricate broderie anglaise and floral appliqués. and then came kate moss in a stunning, feathered white mini-dress, to once again close the show which could have almost been a scene from a fairytale.

^ love the umbrella!
^ love the coral color here
^ dreamy feathers
